Colchester to Luton Airport
London Luton is north of London in Bedfordshire, immediately off the M1. There is one passenger terminal, so there is no terminal to choose. The roads and drop-off areas around it have changed in recent years, so it is worth agreeing the meeting point with the office before the day.

Worth knowing about Luton Airport
A single terminal
Departures and arrivals are in the same building, and the airport sits a short way off junction 10 of the M1.
The Luton DART
Luton Airport Parkway railway station is linked to the terminal by the DART, an automated shuttle that opened in 2023. Worth knowing if part of your group is arriving by train.
Agree the meeting point
Forecourt arrangements at Luton have changed more than once. Ask the office where the driver will be, so nobody is looking for a car in the wrong place.
Ask the office before you book
The answers to these depend on your journey and the vehicle, so we would rather you heard them from the person arranging it than read a promise here.
- Do you follow the flight if it lands early or late?
- Where exactly will the driver meet us at Luton Airport?
- How long will the driver wait if we are held up?
- Can you fit a child seat, and what does it cost?
- What happens if I need to move or cancel the booking?
- Can you book the return journey at the same time?
