Three categories, chosen by your luggage

Every journey is booked as one of the categories below. Read both limits before you choose: a vehicle can seat your group comfortably and still be too small for what you are carrying.

Choosing the right category

The capacities above are the limits we book to, not a rough guide. Both numbers count, and it is the tighter of the two that decides the category: a group can sit comfortably in a vehicle and still be over its luggage limit, so check the bags before you check the seats.

If you are close to a limit, book the larger option. Luggage is the usual reason a pickup goes wrong, and a car that arrives too small cannot be made bigger at the kerb. The step up in price is small next to a missed flight.

Not sure how your bags count? Call 01206 701701 and describe what you are bringing. The office would much rather have that conversation now than on the morning of your flight.

Makes and models

You are booking a category, not a particular car. We do not promise a specific manufacturer or model, and the vehicle sent may be any car in the category you chose. What the booking sets is the passenger and luggage capacity listed on that category, and that is what the office works to.

Questions about vehicles

What counts as a large bag?

A large bag is a full-size suitcase, the sort that goes in the hold. A cabin bag is the smaller case or holdall you would carry on. If yours sit somewhere between the two, describe them to the office when you book rather than guessing, and they will tell you which category to take.

Can I ask for a particular make or model?

No. Bookings are taken by category, so the car that arrives may be any vehicle that meets the passenger and luggage limits shown above. If something about the vehicle matters for your journey, tell the office and they will say what is possible.

Is a wheelchair-accessible vehicle available?

This is not something we can confirm on a website. Call the office and ask what can be arranged for your date, and for a wheelchair user or a folding wheelchair specifically.

Can you provide a child seat?

Ask the office before you confirm the booking. Tell them the ages travelling with you so the answer covers the right kind of seat.

What if there are more of us than a minibus takes?

Call the office with the size of the group and the amount of luggage, and they will tell you what can be arranged for the date.

Not sure which one to book?

Tell us how many of you are travelling and what you are bringing, and we will put you in the right vehicle at a fixed price.
